Domaine Courbis is a family-run estate in France’s Northern Rhône, in the Rhône Valley, owned and operated by brothers Laurent and Dominique Courbis after their father Maurice. The domaine farms vineyards across Cornas, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage and nearby sites, on soils including chalky clay, granitic sands and rocky outcrops. Viticulture emphasizes hand-picked, rigorously sorted fruit, with organic management and vegan-friendly certification on some parcels, alongside membership in the Inter Rhône Charter and related sustainability labels. In the cellar, the brothers follow a traditional, manual approach with destemming, temperature-controlled fermentations, limited new oak and classic fining, aiming for terroir-driven, classically styled wines.
