Domaine Daniel Chotard is a family-owned Loire Valley estate founded in 1789 and now overseen by Simon Chotard, Daniel’s son. Its vineyards lie on clay and Kimmeridgian limestone soils and are certified organic, with sustainable farming, organic composts and hand-harvested grapes. Simon guides the winemaking, which combines careful yeast selection, lees aging, and maturation in stainless steel and oak. The estate produces two whites, a rosé and two reds.
