Cristina Ascheri

Italy

Cristina Ascheri is part of the seventh-generation Ascheri family estate, whose vineyards and cellars have operated in Bra, Piedmont, since 1880 after originating in La Morra. The family works across sites in Bra, La Morra, Serralunga d’Alba and Verduno, producing Barolo, Pelaverga di Verduno, white wines and other Piedmont varieties. Matteo Ascheri leads the estate, with Cristina responsible for the whites alongside Giuliano Bedino. Their approach emphasizes respect for land and history, faithful expression of vineyard and grape variety, and wines marked by elegance, finesse, natural balance and moderate oak. Notes describe sustainable viticulture and a non-interventionist style using minimal technology; vegan-certified organic labeling is also cited for some wines, although other sources describe conventional viticulture.
