Cottage Garden is a boutique South Australian producer working across three vineyard sites in McLaren Vale’s Blewitt Springs and Clarendon sub-regions. Its own Blind Spot Vineyard, acquired in 2019, includes old bush-trained Grenache and an 80-year-old Shiraz block, providing fruit for limited-release single-vineyard wines. The estate focuses on expressive, unoaked Grenache—including rosé—and limited Shiraz. Winemaker James Kalleske leads the team, with the wines shaped around vineyard character and small-production releases.
