Château Petit Bois is a family-owned Bordeaux estate founded in 1947 by Robert Vergniol and now managed by his son, Bernard. Its Lussac-Saint-Émilion vineyards lie on clay-limestone soils with a south-west exposure, and the vines average around 25 years of age. The estate produces a traditional Merlot-led blend with Cabernet Franc, vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. The 2023 wine is marked by pronounced black-fruit aromas, ample body and silky tannins. While the historic property has developed into a modern company serving international markets, it remains operated by the Vergniol family. No specific organic, biodynamic or other sustainability practices are noted.
