Château de Marsan is a family-owned Bordeaux estate run by successive generations of the Gonfrier family, with Eric and Philippe Gonfrier developing the property and wine operations. Acquired by Paul Gonfrier in 1962 with three hectares, the estate now has 15 hectares on clayey-gravelly slopes beside the Garonne River. Its HVE3 certification reflects the family’s emphasis on environmentally responsible vineyard management and respect for terroir. The vineyard is planted to 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
