Château Cissac is a family-owned Haut-Médoc estate run by the Vialard family since 1895 and managed by Marie Vialard, with Laurent Saint-Pasteur overseeing technical direction. Its vineyards lie on a gravel plateau near Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Classified Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, the estate follows sustainable and agroecological practices, including hedgerows, sheep, beehives, integrated pest management and horse-drawn soil work in young plantings; it also holds HVE certification. Winemaking combines precise parcel selection with gentle vinification, aiming for wines that are approachable when young while retaining aging potential. The style is classically Médoc, marked by depth, fresh fruit, aromatic elegance and a long finish.
