Cantine Cavicchioli is a historic family-run producer founded in 1928 by Umberto Cavicchioli in San Prospero, in the Sorbara area of Modena, Emilia-Romagna. Deeply rooted in Modenese winemaking tradition, the estate specializes in Lambrusco, particularly Sorbara and Salamino, alongside Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Its style combines respect for raw material and local terroir with ongoing research, a contemporary outlook, and careful technique aimed at preserving clarity and integrity. The winery is especially associated with wines such as Vigna del Cristo, an early pure Lambrusco di Sorbara cru expression, and Rosé del Cristo. Cantine Cavicchioli is regularly recognized for quality, including Tre Bicchieri for Vigna del Cristo and Rosé del Cristo, and is active in leading wine events and masterclasses dedicated to Lambrusco.
