Producer

Bodegas Mengoba

Spain

Founded in 2007 by Gregory Pérez, Bodegas Mengoba is a boutique, family-owned estate in Spain’s Cúa Valley, with Pérez serving as owner and head winemaker. The winery focuses on small-scale production, low yields and hand-selected grapes rather than volume. Its holistic, biodiversity-focused viticulture avoids herbicides and aggressive chemicals, while regular ploughing and soil aeration support the health of the vineyards. Mengoba works with indigenous varieties and traditional winemaking methods, aiming to preserve the character of the terroir. No formal organic or biodynamic certification is noted.
