Benoît Camus is a small, one-man domaine in Beaujolais, founded in 2006 and run entirely by its namesake. Living in a caravan among the vines, Camus farms old-vine Gamay alongside a small parcel of Chardonnay using organic, largely manual viticulture and hand harvesting. His natural wines are made with indigenous yeasts, without filtration, fining or added sulphur, and are vegan-friendly. The domaine produces a modest portfolio of around 12 wines, reflecting Camus’s direct involvement in every stage of the work.
