Atzei is an independent Sardinian wine project from the Vini Fantini group, launched under Valentino Sciotti’s leadership. It sources exclusively from boutique growers in western Oristano, whose vineyards are small-scale and planted on volcanic and sandy soils. The project uses indigenous Sardinian grape varieties and follows a low-intervention, low-input approach, with minimal vineyard treatments and respectful land management. It emphasizes quality over quantity and pays growers fair wages, although no formal sustainability certifications are cited. Atzei’s wines reflect a focused connection to Sardinian varieties and local vineyard sites.
