Montes describes its Zapallar Sauvignon Blanc as dry and fresh, with citrus and tropical-fruit notes.

Since the 2018 amendment, the decree lists Zapallar directly within the broad Aconcagua wine region. It is not a child of Aconcagua Valley. The legal origin covers the commune; references to Aconcagua Costa in producer literature do not replace the decree’s hierarchy.
