Dark cherry, plum and spice with fresh acidity and firm, dry tannins.
Cherry, red berries and floral notes with a fresh, dry palate.
This DOCG is based on Aglianico and includes Rosso, Riserva and Rosato. The pink wine offers a different view of the same grape, with gentler skin extraction than the reds. Taburno is a separate protected origin from Taurasi in Irpinia, despite their shared Aglianico foundation. Explore the producer, vintage and ageing category to compare the balance of fruit, freshness and tannin.
