Sagarejo is a town and municipality rather than a single protected wine appellation. Its wider vineyard country includes places associated with Manavi’s dry Mtsvane Kakhuri and Saperavi Khashmi’s dry red wine. Those protected names have their own defined areas and rules; they do not apply to every wine from the municipality.
