About Ribeira do Ulla

Albariño white

White

Albariño.

A fresh white with citrus and orchard-fruit notes; expression varies with the vineyard and time on lees.

Where it grows: The Ulla valley across parts of Pontevedra and A Coruña, including vineyard country around Vedra.

Ribeira do Ulla is the northernmost Rías Baixas subzone and the only one extending into A Coruña. Its river landscape includes varied granite, schist and alluvial settings. Albariño whites provide a useful introduction, while the subzone’s white blends can bring several local grapes together. Compare the complete label and producer’s approach to explore freshness, texture and maturity.
