Verdicchio
Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva offers a layered white-wine expression from the inland valley behind Marche’s coastal hills.
Verdicchio.
Citrus peel, orchard fruit and almond-like detail with a dry, layered palate and bright acidity.
This DOCG identifies the riserva wine of Matelica, distinct from the broader Verdicchio di Matelica DOC. Verdicchio remains central, while ageing and producer choices add differences in texture and complexity. The inland valley setting differs from the Castelli di Jesi landscape; shared grape identity does not make the two origins interchangeable. Explore vintage and winemaking details to understand the particular bottle’s freshness, fruit and development.
