Listán Blanco
Ycoden-Daute-Isora offers a diverse vineyard journey through Tenerife’s northwestern and western landscapes.
Listán Blanco.
Fresh citrus and white fruit with texture varying by vineyard and winemaking.
Listán Negro.
Red fruit, herbs and gentle spice with a savoury finish.
Ycoden-Daute-Isora DO follows a varied production area rather than one valley. Listán Blanco and Listán Negro offer useful introductions, while individual producers also explore other traditional varieties. Elevation and exposure vary considerably across the zone. A named grape and actual vineyard location reveal more about the wine than the broad volcanic-island setting alone.
Ycoden-Daute-Isora DO. 1 wine in Pennsylvania.
