Botticino brings a distinctive blended red to the hills east of Brescia, where Barbera and local partners share the stage.
Barbera, Marzemino, Sangiovese, Schiava Gentile.
Cherry, plum and floral spice with fresh acidity, dry texture and supporting tannins.
Botticino DOC combines Barbera, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Schiava Gentile within its required blend. That partnership distinguishes it from a single-variety red or a general Brescia wine. The hillside setting introduces another face of Lombardy beyond the better-known lake appellations. Explore the producer’s ageing approach and any riserva designation to understand how fruit, acidity and tannins come together in the bottle.
