In Telavi municipality on the right-bank side of the Alazani, below the Gombori Range.

Kisiskhevi is included in the Tsinandali protected growing area, but the village name is not a separate appellation with its own universal recipe. Local producers work with traditional qvevri and other vessels, giving visitors several ways to explore Georgian grapes. A winery based here may also source fruit from other Kakhetian sites.
