About Douro

Douro wines come from a dramatic northern Portuguese landscape of river valleys, hillsides and terraced vineyards. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz help shape its reds, while white wines offer another side of the region. Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior bring different growing conditions into focus. The same demarcated landscape also produces fortified Port, a separate protected wine identity from Douro wines.
