Ciliegiolo
Narni offers an engaging Ciliegiolo discovery within a broader southern Umbrian range of white, red and rosé wines.
Cherry, red berries and flowers with a dry palate and gentle tannins.
Narni IGT extends beyond the town of Narni and provides a flexible framework for several wine colours and types. Ciliegiolo has a particularly strong documented connection with this southern Umbrian landscape. The IGT differs from the nearby Amelia DOC, even where producers work within related vineyard country. Read the stated grape, origin and wine type to distinguish a fresh Ciliegiolo red from other blends or dried-grape expressions carrying the wider Narni name.
