Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is important on the slopes around the wooded hills south of Reims.
Pinot Noir leads, with Chardonnay and Meunier also grown.
Pinot Noir can bring body and red-fruit character to a Champagne blend. Village, exposure and producer make a difference.
