Baix Penedès explores the southern side of the Penedès landscape, from vineyards near El Vendrell to inland slopes and local white-grape discoveries.
Floral, citrus and stone-fruit notes with an aromatic palate and lively acidity.
Baix Penedès is a geographical district within the wider Penedès wine landscape. It is not an independent DO, and local producers may work with several certified origins. Malvasia de Sitges offers a particularly engaging discovery: Jané Ventura documents vineyards in La Bisbal del Penedès and El Montmell for its varietal wine. Despite the grape’s coastal name, it is also grown inland. Use a named vineyard and the bottle’s actual denomination to explore the district in more detail.
