Gols is an engaging Burgenland wine town, with cellar culture and vineyards between Lake Neusiedl and the Parndorf plateau.
Cherry, red and dark berries with gentle spice and a rounded, dry finish.
Gols is a vineyard town within the Neusiedlersee wine-growing landscape, rather than an independent DAC. Its growers offer several grapes and styles, with Zweigelt an inviting introduction to the region’s dry reds. A cellar in Gols can also work with vineyards elsewhere, so the bottle’s own origin remains important. Village and vineyard references help connect the wine to a more precise site within the wider lakeside setting.
