Amelia explores southern Umbria through Ciliegiolo reds, fresh whites and a diverse local blend tradition.
Cherry, red berries and floral notes with a dry palate and gentle tannins.
Apple, citrus and gentle herbal notes with freshness and a textured, dry finish.
Amelia DOC continues the denomination formerly called Colli Amerini. Ciliegiolo offers an engaging red-grape route, while Grechetto and other whites provide a contrasting introduction. The wider denomination also includes blends and distinct Vin Santo categories. It is broader than the town alone and differs from Narni IGT. Read the stated wine type, grape and sweetness to distinguish a fresh dry white, a still red and a dried-grape expression.
