Fraser Valley introduces wine country close to Vancouver, with aromatic whites and early-ripening reds in a maritime setting.
Citrus, flowers and herbal notes with a bright, aromatic palate.
Red berries and gentle spice with freshness and a lighter tannic frame.
Fraser Valley is a protected GI, with cool growing conditions and more rainfall than British Columbia’s dry interior. Bacchus and Siegerrebe offer aromatic discoveries, while Pinot Noir gives a red-wine introduction. Cellars here may also work with Okanagan or other interior fruit. Distinguish a Fraser Valley-grown wine from a bottle simply made or sold at a local winery by reading its actual geographical indication.
