Württemberg wines offer a distinctive German red-wine journey along the Neckar and its tributaries. Discover bright Trollinger, spicy Lemberger—the local name for Blaufränkisch—and Schwarzriesling, which is Pinot Meunier rather than a dark Riesling. Riesling adds an important white-wine counterpoint. Vineyards around Stuttgart and the Rems, the Heilbronn area and northern river valleys each bring their own settings, while Lake Constance adds a small, separate lakeside chapter. Traditional Schillerwein brings red and white grapes together. Follow the grower, grape and vineyard to explore the variety, and look for newer district names such as Remstal and Neckar–Alb alongside older labels.
