About Bekaa Valley

Bekaa Valley wines reveal the heart of Lebanese winemaking in a high inland landscape between the Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon mountain ranges. Sunny growing seasons and cooler nights help shape expressive reds, from Cinsault-led wines to blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Whites offer another route, with local Obaideh and Merwah alongside international grapes. Explore the wine country around Zahle, the estates of West Bekaa and vineyards towards Baalbek. These are geographical guides rather than a ladder of separate appellations. Follow each producer’s vineyard and blend information: an estate’s address and the origin of its grapes can tell different stories.
