About Corsica

Corsica wines bring Mediterranean sunshine, sea breezes and mountain scenery into a wonderfully individual French wine region. Niellucciu is a rewarding starting point around Patrimonio, while Sciaccarellu gives Ajaccio its distinctive red and rosé character. Vermentinu, the island’s name for Vermentino, leads many of its whites. The broader Corse appellation and its named local areas offer further discoveries, alongside wines labelled Île de Beauté. Granite landscapes, limestone country and differing exposures create plenty of variation. Explore the appellation, grape and producer to find everything from bright seaside rosés to savoury reds and textured whites.
