Val do Salnés brings Albariño into the coastal heartland around Cambados and the Umia River.
Albariño.
Lively citrus and orchard fruit with a fresh finish; some examples gain texture through lees ageing.
Val do Salnés is one of Rías Baixas’s five subzones and a natural place to begin exploring Albariño. Maritime conditions and a mosaic of small vineyards frame its identity. Compare bright young whites with examples given more time on their lees. The subzone name indicates origin; the grape and wine type provide the finer details of each bottle.
Val do Salnés. 1 wine in Massachusetts.
