Aversa is the place to discover Asprinio, a fresh white grape linked to the remarkable tall-trained vines of the local alberata tradition.
Lemon, green apple and herbal notes with a crisp, dry palate.
Citrus and green apple with lively bubbles and bright acidity; sweetness varies.
Aversa DOC centres on Asprinio, with still and sparkling white expressions. The area’s vine-growing heritage includes the alberata system, in which vines climb high supports traditionally associated with trees. That striking landscape does not mean every bottle comes from identically trained vines. Explore the producer’s vineyard account alongside the appellation, then choose between the still and sparkling versions of the grape.
