About Soutomaior

Albariño white

White

Albariño.

Fresh orchard and citrus fruit with lively acidity; winemaking can add texture without changing the origin.

Where it grows: The Soutomaior area of Pontevedra, around the Verdugo and Oitavén rivers inland from the Ría de Vigo.

Soutomaior’s compact vineyard landscape offers an intimate Atlantic-white-wine discovery within Rías Baixas. The local relief combines river corridors and granite heights, rather than one uniform coastal plain. Albariño is an inviting starting point. Explore the producer and maturation details for the difference between a youthful, fruit-led white and a more textured bottle from this small subzone.
