Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce DOC wines. in the United States

Salamino is the principal grape of this DOC, with its name also describing a Lambrusco variety. The wines include red and rosé expressions under their respective rules, often enjoyed for fruit and refreshing bubbles. Frizzante and spumante are different wine categories, and sweetness is a separate choice. Use those label terms alongside the producer to distinguish a dry table companion from a softer, sweeter expression.
