Colli Perugini introduces the hills south of Perugia through fresh whites, Sangiovese-led reds and a broad local wine range.
Trebbiano Toscano leads; permitted supporting white grapes vary.
Apple, citrus and gentle flowers with a fresh, dry palate.
Sangiovese leads; supporting red grapes vary by producer.
Cherry, red berries and herbs with freshness and a dry, gently structured finish.
Colli Perugini DOC is broader than the city of Perugia and includes several wine types. Trebbiano Toscano leads the white blend and Sangiovese leads the red and rosé blends, while varietal wines and sparkling categories add alternatives. Read the precise wine type to distinguish those expressions. Vineyard exposure and producer choices help explain differences within the denomination without assigning one fixed flavour to all the surrounding hills.
