About Fiano di Avellino DOCG

Where it grows

In defined vineyard areas of Avellino province, in Campania’s inland hills.

Fiano is the principal grape of this DOCG, while the wine name identifies a specific protected origin rather than every Fiano grown in Campania. Young wines can be fresh and floral; some producers develop more savoury, layered expressions through lees work and time. Inland elevation and varied sites contribute to differences between bottles. Compare vineyard and ageing details rather than expecting one fixed level of oak or richness.
