Forlì IGT includes white, red and rosé wine types with several permitted grape-specific expressions. Sangiovese gives a familiar red starting point, while local whites and other varieties add range. The provincial scope includes varied sites, so a vineyard name can be particularly helpful. It is a different protected identity from Romagna DOC and Romagna Albana DOCG.
