About Rioja

Rioja wines offer more than one expression of Spain’s Tempranillo tradition. Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Oriental bring different climates, elevations and vineyard settings into the journey. Garnacha and other grapes broaden the reds, while Viura leads a distinctive white-wine story. Oak and bottle ageing can add further layers, but the producer, origin and blend remain equally useful guides to the wine’s freshness, fruit and texture.
