Turbiana
Lugana gives Turbiana a distinctive home south of Lake Garda, with dry whites that range from youthful freshness to richer aged expressions.
Trebbiano di Lugana.
Citrus, apple, flowers and almond-like detail with a dry palate, freshness and gentle texture.
Lugana DOC crosses Lombardy and Veneto, linking the low vineyard country around the lake’s southern shore. Its signature white grape is Trebbiano di Lugana, widely called Turbiana. That local identity should not be confused with a generic Trebbiano Toscano wine. Standard, superiore, riserva and other categories offer different approaches, so read the complete label. Vineyard conditions, lees ageing and cellar choices help explain variations in texture and depth.
