About Liguria

Liguria wines trace a narrow Italian coastline where steep hills rise quickly from the sea. Explore Vermentino and Pigato in the west, fragrant Rossese around Dolceacqua and Ormeasco reds from the inland valleys. East of Genoa, local whites lead towards the terraced Cinque Terre vineyards and the Vermentino country of Colli di Luni, which also crosses into Tuscany. Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà brings a precious dried-grape sweet-wine tradition. Follow each denomination and grape to discover the contrasts: Liguria offers far more than one coastal white, with distinctive reds, rosés and sweet wines woven into its varied landscape.
