BarberaCroatina
Gutturnio is Piacenza’s distinctive Barbera–Croatina red partnership, offering fresh frizzante and more structured still wines.
Cherry and plum with lively acidity, gentle bubbles and tannic grip.
Cherry, dark berries and spice with a dry palate and a firmer tannic frame.
Gutturnio DOC is defined by a blend of Barbera and Croatina, the latter often known locally as Bonarda. That local name should not be confused with every other Italian grape called Bonarda. The denomination includes different wine types, from gently fizzy fruit-led bottles to still wines with additional ageing.
