Colli di Faenza offers a hill-country Romagna wine discovery, with blended reds and whites from the landscape inland of Faenza.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot.
Dark berries, cherry and herbs with a dry, structured palate.
Chardonnay leads the white blend, with permitted supporting grapes varying by wine.
Citrus and orchard fruit with freshness and gentle texture.
Colli di Faenza DOC includes different wine types with their own grape requirements. Cabernet Sauvignon is important in the principal red blend, while Chardonnay contributes to the white. Sangiovese and other permitted grapes add further possibilities. The denomination is more specific geographically than the wider Romagna wine landscape. Read the wine type and blend to distinguish the bottle’s style rather than expecting all local wines to follow one regional grape.
