Vermentino
Sardinia wines reveal an island of coastal vineyards, granite hills and deeply rooted local grapes. Start with Vermentino di Gallura’s expressive whites, then follow Cannonau into the interior or Carignano towards the southwest around Sulcis. Mandrolisai brings Bovale Sardo, Cannonau and Monica together in distinctive red blends. There is much more to discover: Nuragus and Semidano whites, aromatic Moscato, and the remarkable aged wines of Vernaccia di Oristano and Malvasia di Bosa. Smaller IGT origins open further routes through the island. Read the full denomination and wine type to distinguish fresh whites, structured reds, sparkling wines and sweeter or traditionally aged bottles.
