Bullas pairs Monastrell reds and rosés with a fresh white-wine trail through Macabeo.
Monastrell (Mourvèdre).
Berry fruit, herbs and savoury tannins, with freshness and weight varying by site.
Fresh apple, citrus and gentle floral notes.
Bullas DO is a delimited origin extending beyond Bullas town into varied inland vineyard settings. Monastrell gives the reds and rosés their main local reference point, while Macabeo is an important white variety. Elevation and different exposures create useful contrasts. The bottle’s grape, vineyard and ageing information help distinguish an easy-drinking wine from a more structured interpretation.
