Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle.
Ripe pear, citrus peel and floral notes with sweetness and fresh acidity.
This guide follows the white expression of Côtes de Bergerac AOP rather than a separate geographical appellation. Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle give producers a familiar local grape palette. The specification permits different sweetness levels, so terms such as moelleux help guide the choice. The white is distinct from Bergerac Sec and from the same Côtes de Bergerac name used for dry reds. Colour and sweetness together make the label much more useful.
