About Maury

Red Maury doux

Red

Grenache.

Sweet berries and plum in younger wines, with chocolate, dried fruit and nuts emerging through ageing.

White Maury doux

White

Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeu.

Sweet orchard fruit and floral notes, gaining honeyed and nutty complexity with age.

Where it grows: Around Maury in the Agly valley, beneath the Corbières near the castle of Quéribus.

Maury’s traditional wines are sweet vins doux naturels. Fruit-led and wood-aged expressions differ; Maury Sec is a separate dry-red appellation and should not be confused with this fortified style.
