About Barco Reale di Carmignano

Barco Reale reds

Red

Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Canaiolo.

Juicy cherry and dark berries with gentle spice. Generally approachable, with enough freshness for pasta and grilled food.

Vin Ruspo rosé

Rosé

Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

Red berries and a dry, refreshing finish, with more colour and fruit than the palest coastal rosés.

Where it grows: Around Carmignano and Poggio a Caiano, near Prato.

Barco Reale shares the area’s Sangiovese-and-Cabernet tradition. Vin Ruspo is its rosé expression, made for a lighter mood.
