Lambrusco Grasparossa
Lambrusco Mantovano brings lively red and rosé frizzante wines to Mantua’s lowland food and wine traditions.
Lambrusco Viadanese, Maestri, Marani and Salamino are representative grapes; blends vary.
Dark berries and violet notes with fresh acidity and gentle bubbles; sweetness varies.
Lambrusco Viadanese and Maestri are representative grapes; individual blends vary.
Red berries and flowers with gentle bubbles and a fresh palate; sweetness varies.
Lambrusco Mantovano DOC expresses a family of Lambrusco grapes rather than a single universal variety. Viadanese, Maestri, Marani and Salamino are among its local partners. Red and rosé wines share gentle bubbles, but colour and sweetness create different experiences. Read the specific bottle for dry or sweeter styling. This Lombard origin is distinct from the Lambrusco denominations around Modena and Reggio Emilia.
