Corpinnat celebrates traditional-method sparkling wine from the Penedès heartland, with organic grapes and extended bottle ageing.
Local grapes include Xarel·lo, Macabeu and Parellada; the blend depends on the producer.
Citrus, orchard fruit and fine bubbles with bread and nutty detail from lees ageing; sweetness varies.
Corpinnat is a registered EU collective mark, distinct from a protected appellation such as Cava DO or Penedès DO. Its commitments include organic grapes, hand harvesting, winemaking on the producer’s premises and at least 18 months of ageing in bottle. Xarel·lo, Macabeu and Parellada are important local grapes, while individual blends vary. Longer ageing can add pastry and nutty complexity. Read the producer, vintage and sweetness term alongside the mark to find the style that suits you.
