Traisen wines. in Colorado

Traisen here is the German wine locality in the Nahe, rather than Austria’s Traisen valley. Bastei provides a documented Riesling example beneath the south-facing rock face, with rhyolitic material in its vineyard setting. That striking site is part of a wider local landscape, not the boundary of the whole village’s wine identity. Follow vineyard and producer information, and read sweetness separately, to understand the individual Riesling.
