About Dedoplistskaro

Where it grows

In southeastern Kakheti, across the wider Dedoplistskaro municipality and its agricultural settlements.

Dedoplistskaro names a town and municipality rather than a standalone protected wine appellation. National Wine Agency vineyard work documents settlements such as Pirosmani, Samtatskaro and Arkhiloskalo in this wider growing landscape, while tourism sources describe local family cellars. That makes the municipality a useful geographical starting point, rather than one fixed wine style. Ask for the vineyard village, grape and actual protected origin to understand an individual bottle from this part of Kakheti.
